Nenita & Co., came about from my love of colour, design and craft. It was a gradual exploration of what I love to do, and the tools to do it with. In my younger years I studied fashion, I loved all that it was. Colour, texture, quality and design and collaboration was so crucial.

I continued to experiment with different crafts. Learning to make leadlight windows with the magnificence of coloured glass, restore furniture with different mediums and learnt to use powers tools which I enjoyed.

Drawing and painting was always there. I wasn’t great at it but it gave me joy and I still have a lot to learn. Sewing with gorgeous fabrics, knitting, crocheting to name a few. (show off .. much) 

So it was in this learning and experimenting that I came to want more from the tools I used. I wanted a better quality of paper, to write on, to doodle on and to wrap that special gift that I spent time making. 

 

So combined with my love of nature, land and sea, I searched for what I could use that was of a high quality had integrity and gave me joy. In 2016 I found Stone Paper as I started my search for alternatives to wood pulp. In 2017 I named it paper rock and registered my name. 

So from this beginning I started to put together alternatives that would give you a greater experience but also be kind to our beautiful planet. So I give you Nenita & Co. Be it you’re creating, giving, or learning. Enjoy the process with the use of my products that have been thoughtfully sourced, are kinder to the earth and will do what they’re meant to do and that is to bring joy.
